Your data and who owns it

The project details, property information, and documents you enter remain yours. We do not claim ownership of your content. We use it to operate the platform and provide the features you request, as described in this policy. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it as described below.

TideAI and automated processing

TideAI and other automated tools process the information you enter to surface relevant requirements, check a package for completeness and consistency, and generate guidance. This processing supports your use of the platform. TideAI does not make permitting decisions and does not guarantee any approval or timeline.

We do not sell your content, and we do not share your project content with third parties to train their own models. We may use aggregated and de-identified information — which does not identify you, your property, or your projects — to operate, evaluate, and improve the platform, including the accuracy and usefulness of TideAI. If we ever want to use your identifiable content to develop features beyond providing the service to you, we will describe it and give you a choice first.

Sharing information

We share information with service providers that help us run the platform (for example, hosting, infrastructure, and analytics providers), under obligations of confidentiality. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Introductions and the Tideway Network

Introductions to professionals in the Tideway Network happen only when you ask for them. When you request an introduction, you opt in and we share the project details needed to make that introduction with the professional you choose to contact. You then communicate, engage, and contract with that professional directly. Providers in the directory are independent businesses; Tideway is not a party to any agreement you enter with them, and we do not share your information with providers you have not asked to contact.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. Some analytics may be provided by third-party services acting on our behalf. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the platform work.
